Cooperation among developers and programmers, working on open source codes have yielded an array of operating systems and programs, most of which can be attained for free, and its creators supported through public donations.  Some versions of the UNIX-based operating system may be purchased for extremely low prices and include a massive bundle of OPEN SOURCE software.
